15mm Ancient Greeks

I've never tried to paint an Ancient Greek army, the closest I got to it was buying an old Essex blue box Syracusan army back in the late nineties, I think. I bought them as opponents for my Romans but did nothing with them until I needed some mercenary Hoplites for a DBM Carthaginian army I was trying to put together for a tournament.

Recently I've refurbished the Hoplites and added some bits and pieces with some vague hope I will eventually stumble across a usable army, there are certainly plenty to choose from across the Mediterranean. So, really, a generic force pool to draw what I need from.

Even though I don't have any specific army in mind (maybe Syracusan?) I've presented them as I have in the other army posts.
